Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 2026

InvoiceNow ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have over it. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly when you use InvoiceNow:

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data for advertising purposes. We do not share your data with third parties except as described in this policy.

3. Email Delivery

When you send an invoice or payment reminder to a client through InvoiceNow, we use Resend (resend.com) to deliver that email on your behalf. The email is sent from your business name using our sending domain. Resend processes the email address and content of the message solely for the purpose of delivery and retains delivery logs for a limited period for reliability purposes.

You are responsible for ensuring you have a legitimate reason to contact the email addresses you send invoices to through our platform.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely on encrypted cloud infrastructure. All data in transit is protected using HTTPS/TLS. Authentication uses HTTP-only cookies that are inaccessible to browser JavaScript. Passwords are never stored in plaintext — only a secure cryptographic hash is retained.

Your account data is logically isolated from other users. Even in the event of an application error, your invoices, clients, and profile are not accessible to other users of the platform.

While we take security seriously, no system is completely immune to risk. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.

5. Third-Party Services

To operate InvoiceNow, we work with trusted third-party service providers for infrastructure, payment processing, and email delivery. These providers process certain data on our behalf solely for the purpose of delivering the Service to you.

When you subscribe to a paid plan, your payment is processed by a PCI-compliant third-party payment processor. We do not store or have access to your full card number or payment credentials at any point.

When you use the email delivery feature to send invoices or reminders to your clients, the email address and document content are processed by a third-party email delivery provider solely for the purpose of sending that message.

All third-party providers we use are bound by confidentiality obligations and are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data and documents for as long as your account exists. If you delete your account through your profile page, all your data including invoices, receipts, client records, and profile information is permanently deleted from our systems. This action cannot be undone.

We may retain anonymized, non-identifiable aggregate data after account deletion for analytics purposes.

7. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal information:

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area, you have additional rights under GDPR including the right to object to processing and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Contact us if you wish to exercise any of these rights.

8. Cookies

InvoiceNow uses two HTTP-only cookies for authentication purposes only: one short-lived access token and one longer-lived refresh token. These cookies are strictly necessary for the Service to function and cannot be disabled without preventing login. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email before they take effect. The date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised.

11. Contact

If you have questions or concerns about this privacy policy or how we handle your data, please reach out through the contact form on our website. We take privacy concerns seriously and will respond promptly.
